It is recommended that students who are applying to DIS Programs in Copenhagen have a back-up program in mind, as admissions is not guaranteed (even if you meet admissions requirements).

CORE COURSE OVERVIEW
>> Medical Biotechnology and Drug Development
You will explore biotech opportunities and challenges within medicine, including side effects, antibodies, vaccines, stem cells, and the impact of genomics on drug discovery; delving into Danish and European pharmaceutical and biotech research case studies.
Week-Long Study Tour: Edinburgh (Fall) or London (Spring)
Core Course Week: Study tour to Western Denmark + a two-day seminar in Copenhagen
Prerequisites: One year of biology and one year of chemistry at university level.
