Program Description:
Charpentier Hum Ec ExchangeUndergraduate students enrolled in DEA may spend one semester studying at the Académie Charpentier in Paris. In some cases, this period of study can be extended to two semesters.

The Académie has strong relationships  and partnerships with various institutions in and ouside Europe in both the academic and professional world.

L’Académie Charpentier is located in the heart of Paris, the Montparnasse, a lively quarter filled with cafés and restaurants, in the 6th arrondissement. The school itself consists of a number of historic buildings that have kept the original charm of the former artists’ studios. The school still houses the historical Académie de la Grande Chaumière where students have access to live model drawing classes.

Paris is the capital and largest city of France, and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Often noted for its architecture, urban design, and green spaces, Paris is also one of the four fashion capitals in the world. The city is also one of the world’s leading business and cultural centers; entertainment, music, media, and the arts contributing to its status as one of the world’s major global cities.
