About the Exchange Program
Undergraduate students enrolled in DNS may spend one semester studying at the Division of Human Nutrition, at the University of Wageningen, whose mission is to improve human health through better nutrition. Wageningen University & Research participates in the European Erasmus network. They also have several bilateral contracts that enable students from all over the world to join them.
Wageningen University is centrally located in the Netherlands, just a one hour train ride from Amsterdam. Wageningen is a University town with the University at the city center within cycling distance to all facilities. There are historical and modern buildings, high rise student flats, art museums and botanical gardens.
Wageningen has a thriving cultural and social life. Theaters, cinemas, student clubs, bars, night life and restaurants offer the excitement of the city with the safe environment of a rural village. The many international students, professors and researchers contribute to the diverse atmosphere. Wageningen a town of 40,000 is surrounded by farmland, forests, nature reserves and the meadows of the Rhine river.
Exchange students pay tuition to their home University. Cornell Students pay Cornell Tuition. Housing and Travel Expenses are additional.
